Welcome to the WTO ITTC's Regional Trade Policy Course!
This small website has been created to make it easy to obtain the documents necessary for the course. For each week, for each day, you will find links where you will be able to download documents on your computer, your flash drive or USB key. Some documents, not many, will require you to use a password, which you should have received by email prior to arriving in Istanbul. In case of difficulty, please do not hesitate to ask a lecturer.
The course will last 7 weeks of 5 days each, further divided in a morning and an afternoon session. At the very beginning and at the end of each week, you will be asked to complete an "Evaluation Form" which will help us find out how you know before the course, and how much you will have learnt after the course.
Each module starts and finishes with a quizz. You are strongly encouraged to take many notes and do some evening revisions to ensure that all the material, which is quite complex, is well understood. In that way, you will be able to use the tools we provide when you are back in your home country.
All quizzes are anonymous. Please take the time to complete them. The evaluation process has been decided by WTO Member countries and is very important to ensure quality and efficiency. Your hierarchy (Government/Agency) needs this feedback, and so does WTO-ITTC, this will help us to provide your own professional and career with quality education in our domain, world trade!
Lectures start mornings at 9 am promptly, end at 12 noon, and afternoon sessions start at 2 pm and finish at 5 pm. Coffee breaks and refreshments are provided mid morning and mid-afternoon. Please be on time for the lectures, there is much ground to cover during this course.
